**The Role**:
We are seeking an Associate Director, reporting to a Director within the Hedge Division of Sanne, to develop and manage the growing Fund Accounting team.

The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that all client relationships, both internal and external, are managed in line with agreed service levels and that services and delivery is of the high standards expected by clients and Sanne Group.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Identify the training and development needs of the team
- Direct, motivate and Mentor team members
- Ensure service levels are maintained
- Liaise with clients and assist with any queries from internal and external parties, maintaining relationships and high level of service
- Planning and monitoring team workload and workflow
- Provide informal, on‐the‐job training for team members
- Ensure that services are provided in line with agreed SLA’s (internal and external)
- Ensure that all client queries are resolved timeously
- Conduct mandatory performance appraisals on team members and ad‐hoc reviews; and
- Maintain development plans for team members in a continuous improvement environment.
- Responsibility for right shoring relationships with offshore Sanne entities
- Participation and engagement in internal management forums and investment pricing committees
- Ensure processes and controls are documented, up to date and followed by the team
- Periodic quality assurance reviews of Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations
- Remaining up to date with industry and regulatory changes
- Identifying automation opportunities to streamline Fund Accounting’s deliverables
- Assisting with new client take-ons
- Providing technical guidance to the team
- Attending periodic client meetings (virtually and in person)
- Taking the lead in projects focusing on the Fund Accounting area
**Skills / experience**:

- Postgraduate Accounting degree
- In depth Financial Services industry experience, particularly in regulated open-ended/hedge fund administration
- Strong understanding of technical fund accounting concepts and calculations, including Performance Fees and Income Distributions
- Strong technical understanding of financial markets and financial instruments
- Experience in accounting for Fixed Income portfolios preferable
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Self-discipline, reliability, adaptability and attention to detail
- Deadline driven
- Ability to manage a team and interact at all levels
- Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and Sharepoint
- Experience working with Fund Administration systems, preferably PFS-Paxus
- Inter-personal skills required for fostering strong client, third party and internal relationships
