We're growing fast — and we need a proactive, systems-driven **Operations Manager** to bring order, polish, and purpose to our operations, showroom, and internal workflows.

**Your Mission**

We’re looking for someone to **bring order and elegance to chaos**.

This role combines **solid operational management** with a strong focus on **presentation, systems, and structure** — someone who can elevate not just how we operate, but how we _look_ and _feel_ as a company.

**Key Responsibilities**Inventory & Procurement Oversight
- Manage and maintain live stock on **Pastel**:

- Receive and reconcile physical stock deliveries
- Place and track **import orders** (working with overseas suppliers)
- Oversee stockroom organization and implement **barcode/QR tracking**

Workflow & SOP Development
- Build clear **Standard Operating Procedures** across departments
- Streamline handovers between internal sales, production, and dispatch
- Create or implement a **CRM system** to support the sales team
- Implement **accountability structures** for all operational touchpoints

Controlled Payment Management
- Prepare and capture supplier payments (especially for imports) via **FNB Online**:

- Maintain **controlled banking access** (no visibility of unrelated accounts or beneficiaries)

Presentation & Workspace Experience
- Take ownership of the **Live Demonstration Room** — ensure machines are well presented with creative product samples
- Curate the **customer-facing space** to reflect professionalism and innovation
- Identify areas to improve **team culture, flow, and workspace energy**:

- Collaborate with the team to elevate the **overall look and feel** of Max Laser’s environment

**What We're Looking For**
- Minimum **5 years experience** in operations, systems, or supply chain roles
- Strong understanding of **Pastel (Sage)** and live inventory management
- Comfortable setting up and maintaining **processes, workflows, and SOPs**:

- Proactive personality with an eye for **presentation, branding, and workspace layout**:

- Great communication skills and ability to **work cross-functionally**:

- Experience in **import logistics and payment processing**

**Bonus Points If You Have**:

- Background in **retail layout, showroom, or branded environments**:

- Experience with **CRM systems** like Zoho, Bitrix, or HubSpot
- Familiarity with **FNB Online Banking Enterprise**:

- Worked in a **creative tools or machine-based business** (e.g., laser machines, printers, tools, etc.)
