**Company Synopsis**:etiMAX is a niche specialised consulting company which offers the Employment tax offering along with other bi products associated with it (ETI). They are a dynamic and innovative company constantly looking to improve and expand their business whist providing superior quality experiences and value to their clients in existing and new markets.
**Position Overview**:
Reporting to the Sales Director and Managing director. You will be responsible for leading a team and provide financial and operational support to Senior Management. He or she will be responsible for the internal ETI calculation Software System, whilst generating and implementing strategies to improve service levels and efficiencies throughout the company. This person must be hands on, a self-starter and hard working. They will need to become technically proficient with ETI and develop a deep understanding of calculations whilst managing production schedules.
**Responsibilities**:
- Accountable for team members performance and team productivity
- Co-ordinate and manage direct reports, allocate tasks and resources as needed
- Facilitate communication to inter departments, Sales and MD
- Oversee and manage the quality of all ETI reports, both internal and external have sign off authority on all ETI calculations and reports
- Reports - Ability to produce high quality standard reports customised to individual client needs with intention to close a sale
- Implement and maintain audit and quality assurance process for all Reports internal and external
- Streamline processes and integrate systems / methods to increase operational efficiencies and visibility
- Reporting - manage and maintain weekly dashboard of operational metrics i.e., new acquisitions, data unpacking, data management, calculations, submissions, refunds etc
- Facilitate admin and project management of teams
- Perform key high value ETI calculations
- Day to day running of all operations
- Manage employee performance and corrective action plans
- HR Management - Recruiting, hiring training of new and existing employees. Performance management and staff exit process.
- Set targets and hold team members accountable to targets
- Manage team members to ensure calculations and reports are done timeously, in line with Payroll Software and platforms vs time spent per client to complete to ensure efficiencies and productivity is maximised
- Ability to understand the ETI Systems and software to implement enhancement, innovation for improved business requirements and production
- Manage software developers to ensure business’ needs are met
- Develop strategies to ensure business goals are met
- Manage the client engagement process from the start
- Ensure personal development of team members
- Liaise directly with Clients (CFO and CEO level), SARS and other key stakeholders
- Manage Key suppliers’ contracts, payment and relationships
- Office management - General Office management and running thereof, suppliers, health and safety practices, building space requirements etc.
- Management of in-house SARS call centre, SARS process and managed outcomes
- Management of Debt Recovery process, invoicing and billing functions Job requirements
- Min 5 years’ previous experience in similar role, self-starter, innovative, good with people and very hard working, solid people management experience
- Payroll, EMP 501/201, easyfile experience
- Advanced payroll experience
- ETI experience will be an advantage
- Prioritise and manage several tasks simultaneously, be able to multi-task
- Must be hands on and resourceful
- University degree or diploma financial/payroll/tax related degree
- Strong client and delivery focus, deadline driven
- Strong leadership, Management, coaching, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Excellent written, oral, cross functional and communication skills
- Excellent project planning and execution skills
- Ability to work in highly pressurised unstructured environment independently
- Strong problem solver and analytical ability, attention to detail
- Ability to deliver strong financial and operational leadership
