PMO Support Manager

The Consulting Services: PMO Support Manager is responsible for managing the delivery of internal projects in a timely, on budget and within scope manner, whilst ensuring that each project interaction translates to achieve the agreed business objectives. The PMO Support Manager will also be responsible for the provision of project assurance on selected projects within the global community, acting as key interface with the SYSPRO operational teams, driving best practice, in adherence with agreed implementation frameworks.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Main point of contact between project stakeholders and the project delivery team, driving effective communication and maximizing the success of the project;
- Creating of reporting packs for steering meetings relating to projects of which they are managing. The PMO Support Manager will chair steering meetings, facilitating these sessions, to drive decisions and actions with an agreement of next steps;
- Work with the global operational teams on a remote basis, to carry out individual project assurance reviews on selected projects within the Global portfolio;
- Completing project health documentation, representative of the project compliance status, actions and key project metrics captured within a Global Project Enterprise Tool (E.g. Mavenlink/Clarizen);
- Support the creation of business wide KPI reporting, demonstrating insights to the project demand, financials and resource utilization statistics.
**Qualifications and Experience Required**
**Essential**:
- Professional Project Certification such as PMP, PRINCE2 etc;
- Minimum 3 years of project management experience, preferably in a software environment, managing the full project lifecycle
- Experience of managing projects that enable change within the business, managing stakeholder expectations, building strong working relationships throughout project delivery, supporting the transition to business owners to own and champion the business change within a business-as-usual context
- Experience undertaking project assurance activity on behalf of project delivery teams within a formal implementation framework
- Excellent communication skills with internal stakeholders of all levels, both verbal and non-verbal
- Excellent organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Driven to meet deadlines in-line with compliance driven project activity
**Desirable**:
- Agile certification;
- PMI, RMP certification or equivalent;
- Experience in working with ERP in the Manufacturing and Distribution industry;
- Experience working with global teams, including on a remote basis
- Experience and understanding of software technologies e.g. SQL, C#
