From holidaymakers to full-time landlords, host happiness is central to everything we do._ * The Role: * The Billing Manager's primary function is to optimise our billing processes and work with our clients and internal stakeholders to deliver a smooth and efficient experience. Billing Manager responsibilities include working with customers to reconcile billing issues, working with the finance & client success teams to ensure all accounts are up to date, and supporting communications with our clients. Ultimately, you will work directly with customers to ensure all bills are accurate and paid, along with other departments in our company as needed. * Primary Responsibilities: * - Support the Account Management & Client Success teams with complex billing issues and client calls - Proactively drive the billing process and prepare analyses as required - Ensure invoices are timely, accurate, and complete in accordance with the client’s guidelines and expectations - Provide customer support to customers with disputes or inquiries concerning invoices or billing process - Own the reduction of “debtor days” & aged debt - Holding regular meetings with localised teams to reduce any debt - Explain complex information in a simple way to a variety of customers. - Identify and use opportunities to increase customer retention by improving billing processes & customer facing billing products - Work with a minimum of supervision on collection of overdue accounts including historic debt. **Requirements**: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field - Preferable previous experience in credit control or billing - Proven ability to communicate complex technical problems in "customer friendly" language. - Analytical problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail - Confidence in decision-making and owning your billing queries. - Ability to think outside of the box and find creative ways to solve situations. - Team player with superb written and verbal communication skills. - Well organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload. - Previous experience working with Salesforce CRM is a plus. - A working understanding of vacation rentals is a plus. - Must be set up to work from home as this is a fully remote position. **Salary**: R150,000.00 - R220,000.00 per year
