Customer Relationship Manager

Purpose
- Responsible for engaging with key municipal customers by building and preserving trusting relationships. The customer relationship manager will constantly identify opportunities to grow the new and existing customer base, create sales plans to generate revenue and create long-term relationships with existing and potential customers.- Roles and Responsibilities:
- Customer Relationship Management
- Offering exceptional customer service to customers
- Understand customer needs and develop plans to address them
- Resolve customer complaints quickly and effectively
- Promote high-quality customer service processes
- Maintaining good relationships with customers
- Identifying customer demands and requirements
- Developing plans to address customer-specific needs
- Dealing with people of different backgrounds and temperaments
- Adhering to all the rules and regulations of the company
- Technical and Administrative
- Customer Product Training
- Product Support, including telephonic
- Handholding of new and existing customers
- Providing technical assistance to new and existing customers
- System development testing
- Assist with CRM function across other products in our business
- Record keeping of activities and tasks carried out
- Create and update sales funnel prospects
- Business Development
- Upselling and cross-selling products and services to existing customer
- Monitor customer product/solution usage and drive adoption
- Approach potential customers to establish relationships and build rapport
- Identify key staff in client companies to cultivate profitable relationships
- Identify opportunities to grow the new and existing customer base
- Gain solid knowledge of competitors
- Experience
- A minimum of 3 year’ Customer service experience (Essential)
- Sales or Municipal background (Advantageous)
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the conveyancing, sales or Municipal industry (Advantageous)
- Good knowledge of MS Office and Windows (Essential)
- Requirements
- Matric OR Equivalent (Essential)
- Own Transport and driver’s license (Essential)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Customer and solutions-oriented mindset
- A team player with leadership skills
- Maintain a positive attitude
- Aptitude for fostering positive relationships
- Diligent and self-motivated
