Busy printing company seeks digital estimator to produce large volume quotes daily. Duties include (but not limited to): Evaluate client RFQs to define the required scope; Review material and labour requirements; Calculate the cost estimate according to the specifications supplied by Sales/

Clients; Provide budget and formal proposals to clients; Ability to read and interpret client RFQ specifications; Ability to manage workload (plan, organize, and prioritize) to maintain department production schedules and deadlines; Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously; Ability to review and build Bill of Materials; Ability to plan different tasks for RFQ’s; Understanding of internal and external printing specifications; Take responsibility and accountability for completion of quotes i.e. be deadline; driven and ensure quotes/estimates are timely produced; Building good client and supplier relationship and seek ways to achieve price

competitiveness and good service; Present professional, formal quotes with attention to detail, good language and demonstrating a sound, practical understanding of the product and whilst ensuring consistency in the price quotes; Ensure formal handover of the quote to the production team/other department and follow through.

**Requirements**: Matric and relevant tertiary qualification; Minimum 3-5 years’ relevant estimating experience; Proficient in Quick Easy and MS Office; Good understanding of print and printing industry; Ability to thrive and remain calm in a fast-paced environment and to meet deadlines timeously and under pressure; Excellent communication skills.
