**Key Focus Areas**
- ** Creation and maintenance of capture processes - **Own and be responsible for the creation of a capture process in which relevant opportunities are identified and tracked. This will be part of a more structured Go/No-Go process and identifying requirements from the opportunity and critical data for submission.
- **Proposal & resources library - **Own and drive the creation of a well-organized and updated library where previous proposals and proposal resources can be easily found to maximize efficiency when responding to opportunities. This includes but is not limited to capability statements, case studies, presentations, blurbs, and paragraphs for proposals.
- **Customer Relation Management - **Own the accurate and timely update of opportunities, leads, and deals in our CRM to make sure reports are created reflecting the progress on goals set.
- **Renewals, upgrades, and upsells - **With the support of the Director of Partnership and Growth and the Implementations team, prepare proposals, amendments, and contract updates as our partners require.

**Responsibilities**
- Drive the expansion of the user base of Reach’s mobile technology platforms for improving health and health systems, by identifying, developing and maintaining key funding, implementing and expansion opportunities.
- Support relevant stakeholders (governments, NGOs, donors and other implementing agencies) through the proposal, approval, funding and contracting process.
- Contribute to developing product and marketing roadmaps by identifying and communicating stakeholder needs and wants to the product team.
- Lead and prepare renewal proposals and budgets, ensuring they are submitted in line with internal approval processes and external deadlines and requirements.
- Coordinate and prepare the submission of all supplementary documents for proposals.
- Work with the Director of Partnerships and Growth and the Communications Manager to improve Reach’s visibility within the international development, technology and social change communities and establish our organisation as a thought leader in these fields.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the non-profit and social impact sectors and use this understanding to look out for opportunities to partner with the appropriate NGO’s and funders to create digital breakthroughs which improve people’s health.
- Ensure a thorough and well-documented handover of new projects is completed with the Production team to enable them to deliver to Partner and Funder expectations.
- Understand the relevant technologies - a deep technical background is not necessary. Still, you need to be able to match our expertise with the Client’s needs and clearly describe technical concepts to various stakeholders in an easy to understand manner.
- Work with the Communications Manager and the internal production teams to create case studies, white papers, support documentation, and credentials presentations for proposals and partnership development.
- Support the presentation of solutions to partners / funders in order to secure funding which drives the organisation’s growth and implementation strategy.

**Relevant Experience and Skills**
- A relevant tertiary qualification
- 3+ years of fundraising experience in a relevant setting (not-for-profit, development, social enterprise etc)
- Strong financial experience with the ability to prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets
- Strong connections to implementation partners in Africa would be a distinct advantage
- Experience with large multilateral funding partners would be valuable
- Excellent communication skills (both verbally and written) required
- Strong procedural skills with an interest in ensuring business efficiencies at all levels of our work
- Comfort and experience working independently with distributed teams
- Self-directed toward excellent work outcomes
- Previous experience dealing with Ministry of Health and Government is an asset
