Our client is looking to employ a **Stock Controller **for their company that is able to start soonest.
**Minimum Requirements**
- Grade 12 with Mathematics.
- A post-matric qualification in any warehousing/procurement studies.
- 5-10 years experience in an inventory/warehousing role.
- Understand all business processes that relate to inventory/distribution.
- Figure/number and service-oriented
- Forklift and Overhead Crane Licenses
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual
**Key Performance Areas**
- Complete GRNs when receiving stock.
- Put IDs on plates, and offload materials, either by crane or by forklift.
- Attend to and assist bed loaders and operators with plates.
- Write ids on test certificates.
- Request test certificates from suppliers.
- Maintain test certificates, linking and updating the database.
- Control stock levels on the computer and physically involved in the warehouse.
- Perform regular internal location stock audits.
- Participate in financial year-end stock take.
- Inform the Buyer regarding figures - plate received.
- Assist Despatch from time to time with queries regarding materials and deliveries.
- Liaise with Production to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Raise non-conformances against Suppliers where necessary.
- Attend to sales queries, i.e. materials, test certificates, etc.
- Offload deliveries with a forklift, create IDs, draw up materials, book into Sigma sheets, and inform the necessary personnel about delivered materials.
**Salary**: R13,500.00 - R15,500.00 per month
