**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Reception Management**:
- Oversee the daily operations of a busy school reception, ensuring that students, parents, and visitors receive a warm welcome and timely support.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure that information is communicated consistently and accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance of the front office and reception areas.
- Manage the reception staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management, to ensure all duties are performed to the highest standard.
- **Staff and Teacher Management**:
- Work closely with teachers and support staff to ensure that schedules, coverage, and resource needs are met.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for staff issues and concerns, helping to resolve conflicts and maintaining a positive workplace culture.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to ensure open communication, set priorities, and address any operational challenges.
- Coordinate teacher and staff schedules, manage absences and substitutions, and ensure classrooms are appropriately staffed at all times.
- **Administrative Operations**:
- Implement and maintain efficient administrative systems to streamline daily operations, including filing, record-keeping, and data management.
- Ensure accurate attendance records and oversee the scheduling of student appointments, conferences, and events.
- Manage school supplies and inventory, ensuring the school has all necessary materials and resources at all times.
- Work closely with the principal and administrative team to support the school’s overall objectives, including special projects and event planning.
- **Customer Service Excellence**:
- Serve as the face of the school to parents and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and ensuring every interaction is positive and professional.
- Handle inquiries, complaints, and concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating issues to senior leadership when necessary.
- Continuously seek ways to improve processes and enhance the experience for parents, students, and staff.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar administrative or management role, preferably within an educational environment.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with school management software is a plus.
