A company based in Pretoria is seeking to employ a Communication Officer skilled in writing engaging content for social and digital media, editing, graphic design, and the social media planning and production process.

The Communication Officer will work with staff across Africa to promote the companies messages, products and achievements in line with their communication strategy.

This full-time position requires creative and journalistic writing skills, design expertise, strong attention to detail, an interest in current affairs, problem-solving skills and the ability to work quickly and to deadline. The Communication Officer will work as part of a dynamic and creative team, reporting to the head of Communication.
- **MUST **have software knowledge requirements**:Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Acrobat**

**Overview of duties**
- Writing, editing and proofreading for print and digital communication
- Creating visual communication products
- Assisting with website and social media processes
- Supporting the publications production process
- Ensuring that communication is modern, visible and relevant

**Overview of requirements**
- 3-year tertiary qualification in communication/journalism/marketing
- 5 years’ experience in writing/editing/digital media or a related environment
- Excellent English verbal and writing skills
- Experience in graphic design, photography and videography
- Experience in uploading and formatting website content using a CMS
- Available to travel to regional offices as required
