Stationery Controller

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Receiving Stationery from the various suppliers ordered by the Procurement Officer
- Accurately monitoring stock levels on a daily basis
- Determine when to order stock according to stock levels re-order schedule
- Verify received stock from suppliers immediately
- Accurately verify received stock against placed orders
- Ensure proper and neat storage of stock in allocated storage areas
- Record stock received in stock control system
- Retrieving stationery requisitions from system on a daily basis
- Collect original stationery requisitions from staff and partners on a daily basis per schedule
- Issue stock ordered to the relevant partners and/or staff
- Update system with regard to stock issued
- Control stock and keep record of stock available
- Do stock audit once a week and submit order requests to the Procurement Officer
- Dealing with ad hoc urgent requests of paper, toner and letterheads
- Replace toners at the various small desktop printers
- Timeously collect mail and Docex from relevant departments and deliver at Postal Department, according to schedule
- Accurately sort mail according to department, Partner or employee
- Accurately distribute mail and documentation to relevant department, Partner or employee
- Record all docex documents in the register
- Timeously deliver memos to staff in departments according to schedule
- Opening of overnight bags (DBN/CPT)
- Maintaining a Mail room schedule by picking up & delivering files/documents etc using an office trolley (delivery of urgent documents from DBN/JHB /CPT branches immediately)
- Assisting with Global mail sorting, franking etc
- Registered post and courier invoice filing & recording
- Filling courier invoices
- Delivery of registered mail received by the Firm to relevant departments
- Distribution of newspapers and magazines on a daily basis
- Good relationships with all customers are maintained at all times
- Queries are solved to the satisfaction of customers
- Assist with any other duties or responsibilities within the mail room.
**Skills and knowledge**
- Computer literacy
- Good communication skills
- Understand the process of receive and dispatch
- An understanding of all aspects of stationery
**Qualification/s**
Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent certificate with Maths
