We are a leading education staffing company based in the United States, dedicated to connecting highly qualified educators with schools and educational institutions across the nation. We are expanding our operations to South Africa and seeking talented and motivated Business Development Representatives to join our team remotely and help us grow our presence across the US.

**Job Summary**:
As a Business Development Representative for our education staffing company, you will play a crucial role in expanding our business in South Africa. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and engage with potential clients in the United States, build strong relationships, and promote our education staffing services. While working from South Africa, you will need to adjust your schedule to work from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST), which corresponds to 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM South Africa Standard Time (SAST).

This is a fully remote, full-time, and 1099 contractor position, allowing you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while contributing to our dynamic and fast-paced team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Outreach and Relationship Building: _Initiate and maintain effective communication with key decision-makers at schools and educational institutions in the United States. Cultivate and nurture relationships to understand their staffing needs and pain points.
- Sales Presentations: _Conduct virtual presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the benefits and value of our education staffing services.
- Sales Negotiation: _Collaborate with clients in the United States to understand their requirements and tailor staffing solutions to meet their specific needs. Negotiate terms, contracts, and pricing to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
- Market Research:_ Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the United States education industry, including changes in curriculum, teacher requirements, and staffing demands.
- Sales Reporting:_ Track and report on sales activities, performance metrics, and pipeline status. Utilize our CRM system to manage leads and opportunities effectively.
- Collaborative Team Player:_ Work closely with the rest of the business development team and internal departments to ensure a seamless client onboarding process and excellent customer experience.
- Feedback and Improvement:_ Provide valuable insights from the United States market to help improve our services and tailor offerings to better suit local requirements.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
- Knowledge and understanding of the United States education sector and staffing industry is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Ability to thrive in a remote work environment and meet performance targets.
- Experience using CRM tools and other sales software is preferred.
- Must have a reliable internet connection and a suitable home office setup.
- Availability to work from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM South Africa Standard Time (SAST).

**Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, education, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Prior experience in education staffing, recruitment, or the education industry is advantageous.

**Contract Type**:
This is a 1099 contractor position, offering full-time hours on a remote basis. You will be responsible for managing your own taxes and benefits.
