Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
- Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
- Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)
- Setting up active directory accounts for new users
- Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
- Testing new technology
- Possibly training of Junior staff
- Perform equipment staging, planning, calculate system hardware layouts within development, test, and production environments.
- System and Hardware related issues in a timely manner.
- Installs, relocates, reconfigures, removes, and maintains hardware, voice, and online data processing equipment.
- Receives, troubleshoots and resolves inbound customer and internally escalated calls relating to system hardware or software issues.
- Work with remote OS support teams to troubleshoot hardware failures.
- On Call with the requirement to be on site in approximately 1 hour in the event of a server hardware failure
- Perform all hardware, software, and firmware upgrades.
- Identify process problems and inefficiencies including the root cause and recommend solutions.

**Salary**: From R12,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Hardware: 1 year (required)
- Siftware: 1 year (required)
