Therapy Supporter

Are you a person who can strike up a conversation with almost anybody? Do you care about the wellbeing of people and like to motivate people? You will be working in an environment where you will assist to motivate and support patients daily to attend a therapeutic program. You will interact with patients, nursing staff, therapists, and doctors to provide feedback on the daily activities of patients.

The Mondia HealthCare Group requires a Therapy Assistant who will be based at our Mondia **Umhlanga** facility in **Umhlanga.**

**REQUIREMENTS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING**
- Care Worker certificate or Occupational therapy technician could be advantageous if you meet the other criteria.
- 2 years or more experience in the health environment or hospitality industry

**KEY DUTIES**:

- Supporting & assisting therapists in delivering therapy sessions and interventions
- Providing hands-on support & assistance to clients during therapy sessions and interventions
- Effective communication & collaboration with interdisciplinary team
- Equipment maintenance & management
- Observation & monitoring of clients
- Safety & risk management
- Documentation & record keeping
