**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Grade 12 / National Diploma in Operation Management or Production Technology
- Min 3 years in Production and MES System
- Admin experience would be additional advantage

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Provide assistance to the Production Manager and Team Leaders to manage production shifts
- Compile all process files
- Ensure process files and Operator instructions are available for the jobs planned
- Provide support to production in ensuring efficiencies are maximised
- Ensure safety and cleanliness of the work area are met
- Perform project tasks as directed by the Production Manager and any task as assigned by management
- Generate Training Assessment sheets
- Ensure all tests are completed
- Ensure training is signed off
- Update ILU charts
- Conduct On-The-Job Training Sessions** **with Team leaders****:

- Ensure that the capturing of the Production scrap is recorded on Halden System
- All Alerts to be placed in Process files and training to the Team leaders to be done
- Ensure all process changes to be put on Process notification form and to be signed off by all Team leaders and Operators
- Order resources for production lines
- Analyse past and present data to generate reports and create more effective schedules
- Perform any reasonable tasks given by the Production Manager
- Verify missing data and errors observed during data entry and discuss with the engineering team to correct these errors
- Work closely with the engineering to ensure the correct work instructions are available all the time
- Ensuring adequate and accurate capturing of production data and generating reports timeously
- Accurate and timely input of all Production related data onto Haldan and other related reports
- Track and Report OEE trends and update reports needed for benchmarking processes for Production
- Coordination and preparation of stock taking by ensuring all WIP parts from production are well labelled and quantified before stock take commences
- Reconciliation of stock on floor against production reports and highlighting irregularities
- Relieving the teams during lunch hours
- Training of new operators
- Attending to quality complaints from customers
- Ensuring all visual aids are always available on each workstation
- Documentation and filing of training registers, process setting sheets
- Updating of the visual management system for communication purposes
- Assisting in repacking parts for shipments
- Driving the use of setting sheets on the production line by the process Techs
- Ensuring the files have all the necessary documentation before the production run
- Ensuring the production administration is kept up to date
- Lead the daily production reports from Haldan system and highlighting issues/system improvements faced by the teams
