**Responsibilities**:

- Manage our in-house training system that addresses company mandatory needs.
- Production cross-training, measurement of the training effectiveness and training transfer.
- Determination and specification of focal points of training for shift managers and production personnel.
- Implementation of training measures.
- Ensure audit conformance for production requirements.
- Co-ordinate internal Shop Floor Training Programme (SFT) - mentoring and monthly reports.
- Responsible for creating job descriptions for new employees and updating existing employee job descriptions.
- Responsible for maintaining the Skills and Training Matrix for the plant.
- Schedule Training and License renewals for (forklift drivers, reach-truck drivers, crane operators, safety reps and first aiders ).
- IBR creation and co-ordination for external training and bookings.
- Provide inputs for B-BBEE year end report.
- HR mandatory induction training for new employees.
- Induction training for contractors.
- Maintain / update personnel training files

**Requirements**:

- Relevant Qualification
- Proven experience in Training and Development.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a production / manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Intermediate skills in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Manufacturing knowledge and principles.
- Expert knowledge and experience of Production Systems and Processes.
