What the person must be able to do:
This role is in the automotive component manufacturing sector. All duties would take place in this context.
- Daily paint quality testing
- Colour analysis and colour approvals
- Setup paint process (in production)
- Paint trials
- Defect analysis and correction (Colour, Peeling, Thickness, Durability etc...)

Key Job Deliverables:

- Ensure paint quality
- Speedily eliminate defects (Root Cause)

Qualifications & Background work experience:

- Chemical Engineering Qualification or equivalent
- Managing a paint lab
- Paint quality testing and addressing quality issue
- Analysis of paint chemistry to ensure conformance to specifications such as colour, thickness and durability
- Advantageous: Specific experience in Automotive Paint
