Our leading client in the Automotive sector based in Rosslyn is looking to employ a Paint Plant Manager to join their dynamic team.
- Manage KPA’s of subordinates and ensure discipline is always maintained.
- Responsibility over health, safety and environment WRT controlling, monitoring, and showing improvements where applicable
- Promoting of sound Industrial Relations
- Measuring and improving process capability through a process of corrective act on and continuous improvement.
- Measuring and ensuring proactive implementation of all Lean manufacturing/World Class/TPS principals including change over time reduction, KAN BAN, visual management boards, MDW boards etc.
- Controlling of production performance to schedule/plan. Manufacturing flexibility must be maintained to ensure customer support to meet customer supply
- Performing to budget on expenses and plant performance.
- Maintaining and adhering to the prescribed quality systems eg. ISO 9002, ISO 14001, **TS16949 **etc;
- Monitoring and ensuring proactive implementation of scrap and waste reduction programs to ensure targets are met.
- Manage process, Industrial and TPS Engineering activities in accordance with SOP’s
- Ensuring that the Painting Plant is always in a position to accept visitors from management, customers and
- Ensuring quality products are produced and that PPM targets for both internal and external customers are
- This must include effective root cause analysis of each PPM related incident to avoid re-occurrence. S To ensure that all sub-assemblies structured within the cycle time be performed as such to avoid un-necessary WIP and scrap
- To ensure timeous actions are taken when parts are on hold to avoid un-necessary WIP, quality problems and to alleviate space constraints.
- To maintain equipment, facilities and tooling, under your control, in good condition
- Manage and control raw material and finished goods stocks to ensure that stock integrity is maintained.

**Job Requirements**:

- Matric and Production Diploma or Technical Qualification to N6/T3 or S4
- 5 Years’ Experience in an Automotive and Paint Environment
