Stakeholder Relationship Officer

-The Stakeholder Relationship Officer will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, government agencies, other University entities and internal teams while maintaining the highest standards of quality in line with University requirements. The role involves understanding stakeholder needs, ensuring effective communication, and promoting collaboration to align Wits Plus objectives and delivery with internal and external stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Stakeholder Engagement:
Provide assistance to address current stakeholders’ interests, needs, and concerns.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across various faculties, schools, departments and companies.
Serve as the primary point of contact for University and Wits Plus stakeholders.
Complete costing sheets and assist in the preparation of accurate pricing and financial models.
Complete bids, tenders and contracts by providing detailed information, proposals, documentation, and relevant requirements
Assist in various business development activities to drive growth and expansion.
Support all units in Wits Plus as requested by the line manager, ensuring cross-functional collaboration.
- Communication & Reporting:
Develop communication strategies that promote transparency and keep stakeholders informed of progress, and developments.
Prepare regular reports and updates for internal teams and stakeholders.
Organise meetings, presentations, and events with stakeholders to ensure consistent and timely information sharing.
- Collaboration & Alignment:

Work closely with internal departments (e.g., WBS, WSG, Marketing, Product Development, etc.) to ensure that stakeholder interests are aligned with business objectives.

Coordinate cross-functional efforts to address stakeholder issues and concerns.
Ensure that stakeholders' feedback is incorporated into planning.
- Conflict Resolution:
Address and resolve stakeholder concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Mediate any conflicts that arise aiming for mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Policy & Compliance:
Ensure the company adheres to relevant regulations and policies when engaging with stakeholders.
Work with legal and compliance teams to manage risk related to stakeholder engagements.
- Monitoring & Evaluation:
Analyze trends in stakeholder feedback and recommend improvements to business processes and communication strategies.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in stakeholder management, external relations, or a similar role.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in business development, conflict resolution

**Work Conditions**:

- Full-time position, Monday to Friday in office.
