**Job Purpose**:
Supervise and control the Electricity Unit's Central Administration Department (Correspondence,
Word Processing, Switchboard, Microfile and Relief Services.
**Key Responsibility Areas**:
Controls the administrative systems and activities.
Under the guidance and direction of the Manager, supervise and control subordinate staff
within the Administration sub-section.
Ensure adequate systems and procedures are in place to control workflow processes and
outcomes.
Performs specific activities associated with providing support to line functions.
Dealing with routine and non-routine correspondence and telephonic/electronic responses to
queries.
**Essential Requirements**:
Matric/Grade 12 plus relevant certificate accredited by SAQA.
Valid motor vehicle drivers licence (Code B or EB)
2 Years relevant experience.
Computer Literacy.
**Preferred Requirements**:
Relevant 3 year tertiary qualification, i.e. Diploma or Degree.
3 Years relevant experience.
Experience in operating spreadsheet and word processing packages. Knowledge of computer
packages used by the Service Unit e.g. Ellipse. Working knowledge of Archival Act.
