Join us and play a pivotal role in bringing accelerated adoption of Karri to schools in Gauteng.

As part of our sales and account management team we will look to you to present, promote and sell Karri to schools, while developing and deepening positive business relationships with these schools.

As a Sales Representative for Karri you will:

- Build your Sales Pipeline: Identify, engage with, and sign (close) new prospective client schools within your sales region. This can include cold calling, attending relevant conferences, hosting product demonstrations at SGB meetings, pitching to multiple key decision makers over a series of weeks.
- Onboard & train newly signed clients. This includes scheduling product training sessions with school-end users, collaborating with several school stakeholders to ensure our partners understand how to explain and use Karri with their teachers, coaches, and parents.
- Work seamlessly with our account management team to hand over your newly signed schools, and ensure that they are set up for success.
- Work within our CRM system, to manage, track and update changes in your sales and account management pipeline.

What you’ll have in your background
- Previous success in a B2B sales and account management role; travel or remote sales experience a plus.
- Previous experience with CRM systems.
- Stong administrative skills, with an ability to organise and manage your own time and meetings strategically and effectively.
- Beneficial: Experience in the school spaces either as an educator or in a sales role.

Realities of the Role

Working in a remote sales role and with education partners, some days might feel monotonous while others will be very high energy. The process of getting schools to take on a new system can be a challenging but hugely rewarding process. Buy-in has to come from multiple stakeholders. Oftentimes, you will need to be managing multiple schools in various stages of the sales pipeline and their growth in using Karri in their school.

- Attention to detail and a strong foundation of the basics. E.g. Your meetings are scheduled and executed strategically, your CRM is updated, and travel time is planned to support your weekly/monthly priorities
- A consultative sales and customer service mindset; you have a strong desire to draw out feedback from our clients and can present creative ways of solving problems our schools face, especially post-launch

Qualifications:

- Tertiary education valued
- Valid matriculation certification
