**Role overview**:
As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Social Places, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our business by identifying and qualifying high - quality B2B leads. You’ll leverage your experience in sales to prospect, engage, and nurture leads, and generate opportunities that align with our solution offerings. You will work closely with the Sales team to nurture and close qualified leads and play a key role in shaping the future of our customer base.
**Key responsibilities**:
- **Lead qualification**: Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on company fit, need, and readiness to engage with our solution (BANT, MEDDIC, or other methodologies).
- **Build relationships**: Engage decision-makers and influencers, develop rapport, and create conversations that highlight the value of the Social Places platform.
- **Sales pipeline development**: Consistently fill the sales pipeline with new leads and opportunities to ensure a steady flow of qualified meeting.
- **Market research**: Continuously research target industries, company profiles, and prospect needs to tailor outreach strategies effectively.
- **CRM Management**: Accurately track and update all sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress using CRM tools (HubSpot).
**What We’re Looking For**:
- **5+ years of B2B sales experience**: Proven track record in sales, preferably within a SaaS or tech-related industry, with a focus on lead generation, prospecting, and pipeline development.
- **Experience in solution selling**: Strong ability to consult with prospects, uncover business needs, and communicate how SocialPlaces.io can solve their challenges.
- **Expert communication skills**: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers at all levels.
- **CRM proficiency**: Comfortable using CRM tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or others to track leads, opportunities, and sales activities.
- **Strong negotiation and closing skills**: Ability to navigate complex conversations and effectively move leads through the sales funnel.
- **Self-motivated and results-driven**: A goal-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and urgency in achieving sales targets.
- **Team player**: Willingness to collaborate with other sales and marketing team members to maximize overall team performance.
- **Time management**: Ability to prioritize leads and activities, balancing the need to nurture existing opportunities while consistently prospecting for new ones.
**Bonus Qualifications**:
- Experience working in the social media, digital marketing, or SaaS industries.
- Familiarity with sales methodologies such as SPIN Selling, Challenger Sales, or MEDDIC.
- Knowledge of social commerce, customer engagement, or reputation management software.
