**Key Responsibilities include but not limited to**:

- Work with all relevant partners to develop strategy and project plan.
- Work with stakeholders and partners to map the skill requirements, job families required by retail, restaurant and hotel tenants.
- Identify potential training service providers, training programmes to meet tenants’ needs.
- Run a pilot training prototype with pre-selected tenants and monitor and evaluate learning, skills and solutions for scale.
- Work with Harambee Youth Employment Accelerator to determine the appropriate operating and financial model for long term skills academy.
- Develop the RFP / tender for service providers to deliver the programmes and manage the skills academy.
- Develop and manage the project plan, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate weekly project meetings of relevant stakeholders.
- Support communication plan with tenants.
- Report to the Harambee / solve project team.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders including businesses, government agencies, and educational institutions.
- Ensure that the project complies with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement a communication plan to keep stakeholders informed of project progress and outcomes.
- Monitor and manage project risks and issues, and take corrective action as required.
- Ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Provide regular progress reports to the project sponsor and other senior leaders.
- Work collaboratively with other project teams and stakeholders to ensure a cohesive approach to the development of the V&A Waterfront skills academy.

**Educational Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, or a related field.

**Experience**:

- At least 7-10 years of experience as a project manager, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
- Experience working in the retail, hospitality, or tourism industry is preferred.

**Skills**:

- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
- Experience in managing and mentoring project teams
- Experience in risk management and problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical and financial skills with a focus on delivering results
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
