**The Senior Manager: Digital Marketing is to drive digital marketing capability across the business by conceptualizing, setting up, implementing and managing the V&A Waterfront brand’s digital marketing strategy. The Senior Manager: Digital Marketing is required to effectively leverage paid, owned, earned and social media across all digital marketing platforms as an integrated part of the Marketing and Communication strategy. Through the intelligent use of digital levers, they have to enable the V&A to more effectively attract, intimately understand, and meet the needs of consumers, tenants, visitors, staff and other stakeholders so as to extract commercial value. This role forms part of the team who is responsible for creating compelling purpose-led brand stories and commercially viable through-the-line experiences.**

**Job Objectives**:
**1. Strategic Planning and Thought Leadership**
- Develop digital marketing strategy and frameworks that will drive the strategic priorities of the business
- Shape the digital marketing strategy to build ex relevant consumer and stakeholder experiences.
- Lead innovative thinking and provide insights to new technologies that will ensure that the V&A brand is constantly enhancing and maintaining its salience, topical-ness and relevance

2. **Digital Innovation**
- Collaborate across the business to monitor industry trends and review opportunities for digital marketing innovation.
- Constantly identify, analyses and align the latest digital media trends and emerging technology to keep the V&A brand at the forefront of developments
- Lead digital marketing investment across the business and best practice benchmarking
- Leverage the full digital ecosystem to support and drive informed and integrated marketing campaigns in collaboration with the Senior Marketing Managers
- Develop and project manage all digital marketing campaigns and projects
- Translate the overarching V&A brand architecture into a dynamic digital brand
- Improve the usability, design, content and conversion of all digital marketing initiatives
- Maintain an always-on approach by creating relevant and meaningful digital content
- Lead search engine optimization and search engine marketing knowledge for the business
- Develop and maintain all project assets and deliverables including creative briefs, project plans, wireframes, site architectures and copy platforms
- Plan and manage the efficient use of the digital marketing budget
- Evolve our online platforms for e-commerce purposes
- Develop and sustain internal partnerships - particularly across Marketing, BU and IT teams
- Develop and sustain strategic partnerships with digital agencies and associated third-party suppliers
- Define and partner with the optimum mix of suppliers
- Manage supplier SLA's and performance manage where relevant

**3. Digitize Marketing Strategies**
- Leverage the full digital ecosystem to support and drive informed and integrated marketing campaigns in collaboration with the Senior Marketing Managers

**4. Partnerships**
- Develop and sustain internal partnerships - particularly across Marketing, BU and IT teams

5. **Program Evaluation and Reporting**
- Ensure that measures of success and objectives for digital interventions are created upfront, and monitor and evaluate performance against the set criteria
- Monitor performance targets and metrics across the digital ecosystem (e.g. website, social media etc.) and align to the business strategy
- Compile / prepare reports for feedback to the key stakeholders (internal and external) and where relevant present findings
- Develop and entrench systems or tools that allows for real time course correction and long-term learning

**6. Listening & Analytics**
- Develop and implement a real time listening and monitoring infrastructure for the business
- Define and implement a social media moderation policy that informs real-time agility and responsiveness
