We are looking for a skilled Cabling and Network Cabling Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot structured cabling systems and network infrastructure. The role involves working on-site at client locations, ensuring high-quality installations that meet industry standards and company specifications.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Install, terminate, test, and label **structured cabling systems**:

- Install network equipment such as **patch panels, wall outlets, racks, cabinets, switches, and access points**.
- Perform **termination, and testing**:

- Conduct cable testing using certification tools and troubleshoot faults.
- Read and interpret **network layouts, floor plans, and schematics**.
- Maintain tidy and compliant cable management according to best practices.
- Diagnose and repair network connectivity and cabling issues.
- Ensure all installations comply with **industry standards and safety regulations**.
- Complete job documentation, test reports, and asset tracking.
- Communicate professionally with clients and team members on-site.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment.
- Terminate and test **coaxial, audio, and data cabling**.
- Ensure installations comply with **industry standards and safety regulations**.
- Provide basic user training and handover documentation to clients.
- Maintain tools, testing equipment, and onsite housekeeping.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**
- Proven experience as an Data CablingTechnician
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware and cabling faults efficiently.
- Physically fit and comfortable with ladders, roof work, and ceiling spaces.
- Good communication and client-facing skills.
- Valid driver’s license (field-based role).

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Cabling accreditation (or proven equivalent experience).
- AV or electronics-related qualification.
- Knowledge of CCTV or network cabling (advantage).
- Own transport an added benefit
- Must have a good understanding of AV & IT Technologies
- Must be able to work under pressure and in a team environment
- Good communications skills
- Able to start immediately

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary, Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: R10 000,00 - R15 000,00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Alberton, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
