You must be able to start on the 10th of June or earlier. This position is for a Financial Manager - it is a specialized position, therefore experience within a Non-Governmental Organization - NGO/ NPO is desired. Kindly read and understand the requirements of the position.

The organization runs several programmes in response to gender-based violence, including a one-stop centre for women and children who are survivors of gender-based violence and hereby seeks to appoint a Financial Manager to be based in greater Cape Town starting 10 June or earlier. The position will report to the Director.

This is a full-time position. Partial remote working/ flexible work arrangement option available.

Key Responsibilities:

- Processing and reconciliation of all monthly financial information.
- Debtors and creditors management.
- Preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly closing statements, variance analysis, and cash flow forecasts.
- Analysis of financial data to identify trends, assess performance, and support strategic decision-making.
- Preparation of organizational and programme/ funding budgets.
- Preparation and presentation of Board Reports.
- Preparation of Annual Financial Statements and co-ordination of external audits.
- Preparation of Funder financial reporting and co-ordination of Funder Reporting compliance.
- Statutory and Tax compliance.
- Ensuring compliance with finance policies, legislation and funder agreements.
- Regular monitoring of and improvement of financial management system.
- Formulate short and long term financial planning and strategy.
- Supervision of Retail programme (including billings, stock control, production).
- Other related duties as required.

Qualifications and experience:

- Minimum qualification of B. Comm degree.
- Exceptional excel skills are a pre-requisite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- A basic understanding of GBV and survivor centric service.
- Organized and resourceful.
- Adept at prioritizing, scheduling, and multitasking.
- Attention to detail.

Pay: R30 000,00 - R41 200,00 per month
