**Requirements**:

- A relevant three - year tertiary qualification in Human

Resources or related field
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of Corporate Governance principles and SETA

processes and systems
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Valid Driver’s licence

Key Performance Areas
- Develop plans and strategies on the development and

implementation of the WSP, Internal and External
Opportunities programs
- Manage and perform the functions of Skills Development

as defined by the relevant regulations, polies and Act.
- Ensuring compliance of the WSP with BBBBEE
- Ensure the Learning Management systems complies to the

requirements set by the LGSETA
- Manage and ensure the recoupment of the Mandatory and

Discretionary Grants as per the Skills Development Levy Act
- Leading, coordinating and facilitating capacity building

workshops with Senior Management, SALGA, LGSETA,
Provencial Government of the Western Cape, tertiary
institutions,
- Providing a high-level consulting and communication

strategy across Directorates and Department, to external
parties to the organization on Skills Development policies
and strategies
- Provide reports on various professional matters and around

the Workplace Skills Plan, Internal and External
Opportunities and Discretionary Grant.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of junior staff
