**Position is situated in Paarl - Must live in and around the area**

**You will be required to have the following**:

- Minimum National Diploma or BTech in Industrial Engineering
- At least two years’ experience in a production environment with strong emphasis on Quality.
- Good understanding of, and ability to implement Quality Control and Quantitative methods in the production environment.
- Analytical ability to interpret and translate data and findings into a meaningful result.
- Ability to read and understand moderately complex engineering drawings.
- Be proficient with MS Office suite.
- Be assertive and have strong interpersonal skills.
- Be able to work independently and exercise lateral thinking.
- Be able to work accurately and prioritize under pressure.
- Be able to manage a team.

**Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to**:

- To implement and maintain process controls and measurements.
- Compile requisite quality documentation (QCP, CoCs, EoMRs), sign off as required and file.
- Responsible for Quality Management System - as acting DCC ensure current approved documentation is in circulation and obsolete documents are removed; Compile and maintain SOPs, PFDs and PFMEAs;
- Ensure adherence to process controls, procedures and working documents;
- Perform QMS training; develop internal audit schedule and perform audits accordingly; manage NCRs and IIRs.
- Manage quality team - maintain time and attendance; plan capacity in support of production;
- Maintain high levels of performance to meet customer specifications and delivery lead times.
