**Introduction**:
Our JSE listed manufacturing client has an opening for a systems guru. The HRIS Systems Owner: Time and Attendance will form part of the ICT team. The role is based in Springs.

**Key role**:
**Requirements**:

- Relevant HR qualification
- At least 3 years’ **Super-User **experience: configuration; integration management and user support
- At least 3 years’ Human Resource or Payroll system experience
- Kronos system experience will be advantageous
- Advanced Microsoft Office
- Basic understanding of SQL language advantageous
- Knowledge and experience of system testing methodology
- Training facilitation experience
- Able to translate tech speak into user and business understanding;
- Knowledge and experience of system testing methodology;
- Confidentiality, tact and discretion when dealing with people and data;
- Attention to detail;
- Analytical thinking and creative problem solving;

**Primary duties**:

- Participate within a team to contribute towards the teams’ objectives;
- Conduct and document system, functional and scenario testing of development;
- Conduct root cause analysis and use judgement and prior learnings to identify the issue and propose the best solution;
- Ensure quality assurance methodology is followed;
- Adhere to the Software Development Life Cycle;
- Analyse effectiveness and usage of initiatives;
- Innovate by keeping up to date/abreast with the technological world, new products and IT industry challenges;
- Demonstrate the ability to interact with business stakeholders and users, to gain consensus, build relationships to maintain user confidence;
- Gather requirements by conducting and following the business analysis process and documenting these requirements;
- Able to determine the requirements for an enhanced system or a new system;
- Show a continual improvement mindset by analysing and innovating in all areas of responsibility;
- Management of 3rd parties to ensure business delivery timeline and requirements are met;
- Ensure system integrations are automated where possible and seamless;
- Ensure the system is accessible;
- Manage and maintain security;
- Ensure the system is user-friendly, reliable and consistent;
- Facilitate effective training for system users;
- Generate and update relevant training material;
- May be required to participate in and/or manage projects from time to time;
- Facilitate and participate in meetings; and
- Participate in industry user groups and forums.
