Marketing and Events Coordinator

Vodacom's No1 franchisee (Head offices based in Montclair) with 11 Vodacom Retail outlets requires a dynamic Marketing/ Events Co-Ordinator

**Duties & Responsibilities**

In this role you will be responsible for managing the department in a job that is a long way removed from the typical 8am - 5pm

The list of tasks you are expected to complete is impressive in terms of variety and includes arranging point of sale for promotional events, communicating with retail staff, creating online content and organising market research etc.

**This involves working within the advertising, digital, print or direct marketing industries in what is a fast-paced and challenging role. Your main role is to co-ordinate Marketing Campaigns and manage the Promotions calendar**

Oversee the Graphic Designer by mapping out daily tasks and ensure all are produced within deadline

Proofing all advertising before printing or posting and ensuring deadlines met timeously

Co-ordinating all marketing between MD, graphic designer, printer and delivery to all Retail Stores

Increase digital presence of Company social media pages to maximise visibility which encompasses communication with industry professionals and influencers, sponsoring/boosting pages whilst maintaining brand integrity

Driving customer engagement via social media by optimizing content, interacting with users and responding to messages, enquiries and comments

Website development and maintenance experience

Planning and executing of all promotions and exhibitions with co-ordination between suppliers, handsets manufacturers, network and sales force.

Looking for new marketing opportunities and always being ahead of the industry.

Have love for technology and gadgets

Tech Savvy

Knowledge of marketing automation tools to work smart and not hard so that all work flow processes and planning can be streamlined

Able to travel to Gauteng when needed

**Experience**

Min 5 years or more experience in all the above requirements

Strong skills in digital marketing

Creative and on the ball attitude. Able to multi task and work to with speed to to the nature of our industry.

Able to create structure and process

Attention to detail and work under pressure

Ability to work with speed and quick turnaround

Passion for marketing and events and love what you do. Attention to detail and be a perfectionist.

Able to create marketing plans to show suppliers ROI in order to get there support

**Hours**

Monday to Friday 8 to 5 pm

Saturday 8 to 1.30 pm

BE flexible to work over times during the first week for the month and peak seasons

**Package**:
Salary negotiable based on skills and attitude

Yearly Bonus after 12 month employment

Incentives after 6 month of employment
