**INTRODUCTION**

**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Lead and implement standardized recruitment processes including the identification of best-practices to be used
- across the different business areas
- Evaluate current recruitment procedures and identify opportunities to increase efficiency and effectiveness
- Understand business objectives and provide appropriate sourcing solutions
- Manage all sourcing, interviewing and employment processes
- Effectively manage recruitment data bases
- Review and select relevant job advertising options
- Identify and implement new sourcing methods including the effective utilization of social media platforms
- Manage recruiting metrics including but not limited to time-to-fill and cost per hire
- Partner with HR department and line managers to resolve issues affecting recruitment procedures
- Upskill managers and identified employees on recruitment processes including competency-based recruitment
- Partner with the HR department and line managers to identify current and future recruitment needs
- Partner with the HR department and line managers to effectively manage succession planning and talent
- management
- Supervise and provide the required input to the recruitment team
- Build effective relationships with internal customers and external recruitment agencies and service providers
- Remain up to date with labour legislation and inform the business on any changes in regulations
- Attend relevant job fairs and career events
- Review recruitment software and propose solutions that will best meet the company’s current and future needs
- Provide input to improve our employer brand

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Organizational Psychology, or related field is required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Recruiting Manager in a corporate environment is required
- Minimum of 3 years working experience in a retail or related environment is required
- Able to travel within South Africa and cross border
- Driver’s License: code 8
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, e.g., Labour Relations Act, Employment Equity Act,
- Protection of Personal Information Act
- Able to work flexible hours in line with business requirements
- Experience as a Recruitment Consultant is an advantage
- Experience working with HR databases, and applicant tacking systems
- Experience working with social media and other professional career networks is required
- Experience managing a recruitment team is required
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and proficiency in English
- Strong organizational, problem solving and negotiation skills
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure
- Knowledge of and process understanding of Human Resource and recruitment processes
- Understanding of process compliance
- Knowledge of recruitment/career platforms
