The key responsibilities of the role include
but are not limited to:
1. Preparing and Drafting of P&ID, civil, site layout, detailed drawings with CADD systems.
2. Communicating with senior technician/supervisor, engineers, and managers, and incorporating
knowledge gained into drawings.
3. Ensuring final designs are compliant with company standards.
4. Manage the Drawing Office to ensure its compliance with Company Policies and Procedures.
5. Assist the Merchant Engineering Department with generation of drawings for all customer
installations.
6. Assist Maintenance Team with drawings of all customer and production facilities.
7. Outsourcing and supply of draughting services to other Air Products departments.
8. Support the Stores and purchasing areas.
9. Improving the Quality of all new drawings to ensure the highest technical standards are maintained.
10.Responsible for engineering vehicle Proxy.
11.Responsible for Admin/Engineering support.1. A minimum of matric Grade 12/N3;2. Qualified in Draughting;3. FET Certificate: Computer Aided Drawing Office Practice (CAD) NQF4 (Junior Draughtsman);4. Engineering Qualification/certificate would be advantageous;5. AutoCAD in Architect, Electrical, Mechanical and TrueView Training;6. Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in 3D Modelling and Piping experience in design/configuration ofP&ID, site layout and civils drawings;7. Exposure in Autodesk Vault and Content Centre (Inventor, Plant 3D & 3D Max);8. Experience in computer-aided design and drafting (CADD);9. Exposure to projects and understanding to engineering;10. Excellent Attention to Details;11.Computer literate;12. Good verbal and written communication skills;13.A valid unendorsed code 08 driver’s license

**Requirements**:
1. A minimum of matric Grade 12/N3;
2. Qualified in Draughting;
3. FET Certificate: Computer Aided Drawing Office Practice (CAD) NQF4 (Junior Draughtsman);
4. Engineering Qualification/certificate would be advantageous;

Contract length: 36 months

**Salary**: R10,000.00 - R20,000.00 per month
