**Scope**

This position is targeted at students studying an **Electrical Engineering** Course at a Technikon or equivalent and is required to complete a Work Integrated Learning component as part of their Portfolio of Evidence/Outcomes in order to qualify for their National Diploma.

**Key Responsibilities**

Assisting the Field Engineer with their duties, while simultaneously achieving outcomes for the Portfolio of Evidence.

**Key Requirements**

Matric Certificate

N6 Engineering Certificate or Equivalent

National Diploma in Electrical Engineering in Progress

Own Transport

**Key Tasks**
- Works with project and operations teams to monitor and manage electronic/meter equipment;
- Consults with customer or direct manager to plan the deployment of meter and TID roll-over field audits;
- Processing of field audits results and draw up reports;
- Uses Microsoft mapping tools to build mitigation maps;
- Provide telephone and on-site support services to the customers and project teams.
