**Purpose of the job**:
To coordinate Marketing activities in order to grow Brand share, equity, and profitability.

Assist to prepare, monitor, and control the Marketing budget.

Monitor customer satisfaction.

Assist to develop and implement marketing plans in line with marketing strategy and integrate marketing plans with business processes.

Set research strategies to address business needs.

Develop and implement the Marketing and advertising creative process.

Develop campaign, media and creative plans and evaluate creative solutions for a variety of advertising mediums.

Integrate the business code of ethics into the Marketing policy.

**Marketing Management**:
Identify and utilise Marketing resources to meet objectives.

Monitor performance of marketers and service providers and ensure that they meet Marketing performance standards.

Monitor Marketing information flow and collect and process Marketing data.

Assist to establish, negotiate, and communicate Marketing initiatives within agreed parameters.

Implement Marketing project / activity plans to meet agreed deadlines.

Manage customer requirements and needs and implement action plans.

Develop, implement, and monitor customer activity plans as per customer requirements.

Assist to investigate opportunities to develop additional business by visiting new customers and creating demand for our products.

Monitor and record competitors’ activities.

**Market Research**:
Assist to design research briefs and manage research houses to deliver business results.

Analyse and interpret research in line with requirements and communicate results.

Conduct hands-on research.

Conduct a Marketing situational analysis.

Analyse and interpret data and Marketing information and present Marketing data to Management.

**Brand Development**:
Implement Brand strategic plans.

Monitor Brand performance vs. growth and profitability objectives, and develop action plans to fill any gaps.

Manage Customer Insight process including creating briefs, analyse/interpret findings and implement into Brand action plans.

**Advertising**:
Assist in development of technical copy for pieces of advertising material, leaflets, and point of sales material

Provide recipes and editorial for Bakery and Food Service publications on a regular basis

**Public Relations**:
Implement the integrated Marketing communications and public relations strategy.

Implement Public Relations and Marketing campaigns and seek appropriate sponsorships for the organisation

Coordinate Public Relations / Communication events (Promotional events, etc.)

Assist with the implementation of corporate identity and corporate image programmes.

**New Product & Packaging Research and Development**:
Assist with New Product and Packaging Research & Development process.

Assist with the phasing out of old products and phasing in of new products (Inventory).

Assist to conduct a Product Gap Analysis in order to identify and generate opportunities for innovation and generate alternative opportunities.

Analyse consumer requirements and interpret consumer feedback.

Analyse consumer requests for new packaging or changes to existing packaging.

**Product Launches and Exhibitions**:
Provide Marketing support for product launches and exhibitions (POS materials, brochures, etc.)

Co-ordinate exhibition launches, briefing meetings and functions.

Prepare exhibition designs and produce venue and exhibition floor plans.

Assist with assembling, installing, and dismantling of exhibition stands.

Control and maintain venue equipment and assets.

Assist with administration of Product Launches and Exhibitions.

Provide on-site exhibition support.

L**ean 6-Sigma**:
Implement Lean 6 Sigma projects and initiatives.

Identify opportunities for improvements and make recommendations.

**Reporting**:
Compile Marketing Reports.

**Training Materials**:
Ensure that training materials are developed and available for internal and external customers.

**Marketing Administration**:
Carry out marketing administration with agreed parameters.

**Qualifications**:
Degree/Diploma in Marketing.

R270 000 per annum ctc
