Job description:

- Managing the diaries of allocated clinicians.
- Scheduling of appointments.
- Contacting newly referred clients for appointments.
- Answering phone calls.
- Responding to enquiries.
- Maintaining professional communication.
- Switchboard management.
- Receiving clients in the reception area.
- Issuing of invoices, doing billing.
- Collection of payments.
- Issuing receipts.
- Managing medical aid queries.
- Follow up on unpaid accounts.
- Assist with account queries.
- Daily cash up for the branch.
- Manage petty cash for the branch.
- Ensure the practice is always neat and tidy.
- Performing general admin tasks.
- Filing.

Required skills:

- Experience of medical / allied health professions administration.
- Experience in at least one medical management software programme
- The ability to manage 3 to 4 psychologists’ diaries with accuracy and precision:

- The ability to work under pressure.
- Strong knowledge of practice management systems.
- Excellent telephone etiquette.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English and Afrikaans.
- Excellent computer skills. (Word, Excel, Outlook, Zoom, Teams, GoodX, etc.)
- Financial management skills, such as daily cash up and petty cash. Having GoodX experience will be an advantage.
