Business Development Executive

A leading manufacturer and supplier of horticultural products in South Africa is looking to employ a Junior Business Development & Client Liason Executive. Key Performance Area's of the job role: - close working relationship with our outsourced marketing/social media partner, assisting with content creation for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. - creating and posting of monthly newsletter (via Mailchimp), and continue to create an archive of content and blogs for future use. - regular onsite meetings with current, past and potential clients nationally on an ongoing basis, upsell to existing clients, open new accounts, revenue growth is a key focus area (this is not a "hard sell" function, but a CRM function). - regular online meetings with clients nationally - instore retail promotions, wholesale and retail client training, attend trade fairs, etc as required. - Age: 20-28 years - Preferably female - Non-smoker (non-negotiable) - Minimum of 2 years business experience - Good communicator and people's person - Must have own vehicle & valid driver's license - Neatly groomed, dressed and presentable - Fluent in English and Afrikaans (read, write & speak) - Sales / Marketing / Retail / CRM experience would be an advantage, but ATTITUDE is more important - Values: driven, not arrogant, ability to take criticism and learn from mistakes - Eagerness to want to achieve, innovative, positive attitude, ability to grow into the new position What we offer: - Full training and mentoring - Negotiable remuneration, inclusive of basic salary and commission based on overachievement of targets (minimum guarantee for initial 3 months) - Fuel and entertainment allowance **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent Ability to commute/relocate: - Stikland, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required) Application Question(s): - Are you a smoker? **Experience**: - business: 2 years (required) **Language**: - English (required) - Afrikaans (preferred) License/Certification: - drivers license (required)
