Job Summary:
To execute the Talent strategy for the Group Services function by implementing talent management practices and processes as defined by the Centre of Excellence (CoE), and building talent pools that strengthen the business and mitigate succession risk.
- Key Responsibilities and Deliverables
Talent Management Support and Coordination
- Implement talent management processes and practices as defined by the CoE
- Assume operational responsibility for developing regional plans, internal bench readiness and external mapping
- Engage with relevant stakeholders to ensure appropriate development interventions aligned to performance management are in place
Talent Management Practices
- Compile and distribute reports on a quarterly basis to indicate the state of talent for Group Services
- Identify and utilise resources to assess current and prospective talent to meet the needs of the Group Services function
- Identify key roles with bench strength targets, supported by actionable development plans to ensure pipeline readiness
- Facilitate and coordinate talent calibration sessions
- Analyse data obtained from talent calibration sessions and provide insights in relation to the current and future state of talent in Group Services, including scarce skills, positional risk, future skills development and retention risk
Project Management
- Manage, monitor and contribute to talent management project activities for the Group Services function
- Ensure all project milestones and targets are met and monitored
- Create/collate relevant project documentation
Compliance
- Ensure and drive compliance across the Group Services function to talent management systems, process and procedures
Stakeholder Engagement
- Establish and maintain business partnerships with key stakeholders internally and externally
- Build and leverage strong networks with peers and external stakeholders to ensure a global view of talent in the Group Services function
- Develop cross-functional relationships to inform management practices and processes
- Work closely with the Leadership Development team to ensure targeted career growth of succession and top talent
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition o develop initiatives to improve recruitment practices
**Minimum Qualifications**:Honours degree in Human Resources or Industrial Psychology at NQF Level 8
**Minimum Experience**:6-8 years’ global talent management experience
**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**:In-depth knowledge of talent management principles
**Knowledge of the talent management value chain, including Performance Management, Succession Management, Talent Profiling, Talent Analytics and Career Pathing
