MAIN OBJECTIVE

Oversee the safety, health environment, and quality assurance aspect of the organisational including the development, management, supervision of the systems to ensure that the facilities or services of the company meet the highest quality standards and as per ISO requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities (Not limited to the below)
- Execute the implementation of people & culture strategies and initiatives that align with BlackMagic business strategy.
- Assist with the development and implementation of a strong leadership culture throughout all levels of Business Unit.
- Act as an ambassador for and driving the full implementation of the Group values by all employees.
- Foster a desire to learn, promote accountability and a culture of recognition, and encourage a shared vision among all employees.
- Facilitate the creation of accountable, full-service teams who understand and strive to meet the needs of all stakeholders through effective inspirational leadership.
- Take full responsibility for performance of all direct reports, motivating and managing them in relation to quality standards and agreed benchmarks and objectives, focusing on all aspects of sound people management.
- Plan for the overall management of SHEQ, including the setting of realistic and achievable short and long-term goals, deciding priorities, and establishment of adequate systems and performance standards.
- Develop and implement the overall SHEQ strategy, processes, and tools across the Group.
- Drive the design and implementation of electronic systems to guide and monitor all safety related elements.
- Ensure protection of employees, contractors, visitors, and tenants through implementation of procedures and Safety plans.
- Develop a health management strategy focusing on key areas such as hazard/aspect identification, risk assessment/management, and risk/impact control, with particular emphasis on the management of long-term risk.
- Monitor organisational compliance to health regulations.
- Drive standardization of SOPs, processes, and reporting across the entire group.
- Assist in the preparation of risk assessments and method statements in conjunction with management and reviewing sub-contractors risk assessments.
- Carry out full investigations into all accidents/incidents, dangerous occurrences, and issuing reports with recommended action.
- Implementation and monitoring of the permit-to-work system to ensure compliance with Company standards.
- Establish and maintain sound relationships with internal and external stakeholders such as clients, government agencies and suppliers.
- Design analytics required to manage and enhance SHEQ performance of Group:

- reate an employee-training framework, to ensure the SHEQ policy and Safety procedures are understood, and applied organisation-wide and necessary employee training is conducted.
