Are you an experienced Sales Trainer who thrives in fast-paced, high-energy sales environments? We’re building a rapidly expanding US-aligned outbound sales operation in the heart of Cape Town CBD and are seeking a passionate trainer to develop and elevate our growing sales team.
As the Sales Trainer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our people—equipping new hires with the skills, confidence, and drive needed to perform at elite levels, while continuously upskilling existing team members to maximise results and career growth. **Requirements**:
**Your Mission (Key Responsibilities)**:
- Design & Deliver World-Class Training: Build and facilitate comprehensive onboarding and ramp-up programs that prepare new sales representatives for success in B2B outbound sales.
- Continuous Skill Development: Develop and lead ongoing training sessions focused on advanced sales techniques, objection handling, and closing strategies.
- Performance Coaching: Provide 1-on-1 and group coaching for sales reps, leveraging call reviews, role-plays, and performance analytics to sharpen skills and boost conversion rates.
- Sales Enablement Materials: Create and maintain playbooks, scripts, call frameworks, and e-learning content that standardise excellence across the sales floor.
- Alignment with Leadership: Partner closely with sales management to identify skill gaps, analyse performance trends, and implement targeted training initiatives that drive revenue growth.
- Quality & Compliance Oversight: Ensure consistent use of CRM processes, sales ethics, and compliance standards during all outbound engagements.
**What You Bring (Qualifications & Experience)**:
- Proven Training Experience: 4+ years of experience in sales training, enablement, or coaching—ideally within a B2B or outbound contact centre environment.
- Sales Pedigree: Hands-on background in outbound or inside sales, with a strong understanding of sales funnels, call structures, and conversion metrics.
- Instructional Design Skills: Ability to design training materials, e-learning content, and performance playbooks that are practical, engaging, and outcome-driven.
- Communication Excellence: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; able to motivate, inspire, and clearly articulate strategies that drive action.
- Tech-Savvy Mindset: Comfortable using CRM platforms, LMS/e-learning tools, and digital collaboration systems.
- Adaptable & Resilient: Energised by working in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment and aligning with US business hours.
- Cape Town Based: Must reside in or near Cape Town and be available for full-time, on-site work.
