**Responsibilities**:
Ensure a holistic and an integrated approach in managing an efficient security operation including Intelligence and investigation by:

- Responsible for the management of Regional investigation and intelligence team and resources
- Directing the operational functional activities, resources, processes, and systems to achieve the desired objectives and goals
- Drive compliance to setting and measuring performance to ensure the achievement of high performance and increased productivity for both direct employees and suppliers
- Provide guidance and support to the teams, monitor performance regularly and take corrective action where deviation from expected performance occurs
- Identify and direct continuous improvement of operational strategies, tactical plans, processes, systems, and performance.
- Drive cost efficiencies, reduction in losses and overheads while contributing towards revenue generation

Ensure high Employee morale and satisfactions by:

- Driving the implementation of solutions, organizational renewal and employee engagement and satisfaction
- Developing employee competence through training, coaching, and mentoring.

Investigate crime/ irregularities to minimize losses by:

- Ensuring that investigations are performed effectively in line with company policies, applicable legislations, and industry best practices.
- Developing investigation and operational processes, plans and guidelines
- Gathering and maintaining crime information by identifying and managing sources of information
- Conducting risk assessment, analyze crime trends, recommend, and implement prevention strategies
- Interrogating and analyzing crime incidents statistics, crime trends, crime scenes using best available analysis techniques, tools, systems, and methods
- Ensuring that effective crime management is done to protect crime scenes from destruction of evidence or tampering
- Managing the collection of evidence and ensuring that the evidence is preserved with documented chain of custody for such evidence to be admissible in court.
- Following up on criminal cases where arrests are made to ensure successful prosecution and convictions of suspects and improve the ratio of arrest to convictions
- Liaising and guiding line management with regards to the securing of company assets
- Influencing and making recommendation on decisions relating to the acquisition of systems, technology and tools required to predict, prevent and deter crime.
- Recovering assets by identifying, instituting civil action where necessary and secure assets with relevant role players
- Monitoring and measuring success
- Being accountable for ensuring that Safety, Health and Environment Management (SHE) is integrated into all operations and criminal investigation activities
- Manage and validate all registered incidents on investigations on online system
- Compile monthly reports related to all incidents, breaches, and threats
