**_CORE PURPOSE OF THE JOB: _**
Drive all quality related initiatives within the business, with the clear objective to promote,
develop and maintain the quality sytems, customers and any statutory / regulartory bodies.

**_KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: _**:

- Develop and maintain the quality / food safety systems inline with business / market

related requirements and the relative regulatory codes of practice
- Prepare and coordinate customer and internal audits, inline with the requirements of the

business, customers and identified quality & food safety system requirements
- Maintain, develop & obtain the necessary system accreditations as identified necessary by

the business or the market
- Engage within the production environment to develop, enhance and implement

documented procedures and SOP’s to support the quality and food safety systems within a
TQM / continous improvement philosophy
- Report to management on system gaps and improvement requirements
- Engage within the production environment to ensure formal compliance to food safety,

housekeeping standards, SHE & OSH act requirements with a “ZERO INJURY” culture
compliance

**_QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE: _**:

- Matric is a minimum requirement, relevant tertiary qualification will be beneficial with at

least 2 years’ experience in a quality system in a fast paced print manufacturing
environment
- Folding carton packaging industry experience will be highly beneficial
- Good working knowledge of ISO 9001 & ISO 22 000 food safety systems
- Good working knowledge of computer systems and related analytic and SPC techniques
