**Job Overview**:
The Customer Strategy Planning Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the in-Market execution plan that supports the objectives of our brands through Customer/Channels aligned to the Business Unit strategy based on fully integrated, shopper, customer, and channel insights.
- Localize (develop and deploy) Category Growth Strategy at channel and customer level.
- Work closely with Brand, Consumer Insights, Net Revenue Management, Shopper Marketing to translate insights to build Customer sell-in opportunities within specific customers/channels.
- Define innovation & launch plan to channels/customers
- Design portfolio for channel/retailer and integrate upstream into Business Unit
- Allocate Underlying Selling Growth targets and investment to deliver Business Unit strategy by channel and customer
- Define budgets by channel and customer to deliver Underlying Operating Margin target from Business Unit
- Manage total trade investments, and own Pricing & Promo strategy
- Lead monthly forecasting process and report and own Pricing & Promotions Mix
- Net Revenue Management and ownership of and analyze the ROI of the marketing activities executed with the customer.
- Shopper / Digital marketing led
- Deploy strategically aligned commercial plan in Market via Customer Business Development to deploy launch plans to channels/customers to ensure strength of execution
- Define channel / Customer Execution: with specific targets on Share of Shelf and Total Distribution Points using and leveraging account specific category and shopper insights.
- Deploy core capabilities required to win by Channel & Customer (Category managament / Shopper Marketing / Net Revenue Management)
- Work with Account managers to ensure excellence in in-store activation and delivery of integrated Customer Business Plan and Customer Marketing Plan
- Communicate the customer’s marketing and business strategy to the brand teams.
- Develop strong relationships with Customers at Category Management and Shopper activation level.
- Consolidate field plans - customer input in S&OP
- Lead execution of plans & activities including customized offerings (incl. special packs, channel specific packs)
- Responsible for implementing SHEQ and Security policies and management systems relevant to the role.
