Role Purpose

We are looking for a talented and professional communications coordinator to join our dynamic internal communications team for a duration of 3 months. The purpose of this role is to supports the Communications team with the coordination of communications strategies, campaigns and events.
Requirements
- Matric
- BA or BTech degree in communication science, public relations, journalism or similar (Advantageous).
- 2+ years’ experience in the Health business.
- Superior time management and organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- An analytical mind and ability to think critically.
- Exceptional writing and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiar with MS Word, Teams, SharePoint, Excel and Powerpoint and capable of creating visually compelling presentations.
- Proficient public speaking abilities are an asset.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Write a variety of different content to support communications and internal engagement efforts.
- Support the comms team with the coordination of events, activations and competitions.
- Help the comms team with administrative tasks including booking flights, booking meetings, handling the mailbox, making payments, sourcing quotes and liasing with service providers.
- Manage the intranet and keep planner updated.
- Disseminate written communications to specific audiences including Knowledge Communications.
