We are on the lookout for an exceptional Head of Marketing and Innovation to join a fast-paced and highly entrepreneurial organisation. This pivotal role reports directly to the Head of Sales and Marketing, taking charge of the marketing team to meet and exceed organisational goals. You will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of the marketing process for the brand.
The role demands an individual who is strategically adept at planning and executing marketing campaigns, maintaining brand integrity, innovating in a fast-paced environment, and ensuring effective communication across social media platforms.
You will be a holder of a BCom Degree in Marketing or Marketing Management, or any other relevant Marketing Degree, along with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the FMCG environment. You will be able to think creatively and act entrepreneurially, quickly identifying and capitalising on opportunities to improve business performance.
Key responsibilities for this role include leading the development of marketing strategy, and brand strategy, and managing brand profitability. The role also encompasses formulating media strategies, interpreting consumer insights, and planning ecommerce strategies. We are looking for someone who can manage innovation from concept to market, and who has a sharp analytical mind for processing data into actionable business insights.
This role requires the ability to build relationships with marketing agencies and work effectively with all functions in the business, including external stakeholders. With responsibilities including designing processes for the marketing team and contributing to customer and channel strategy, you will need to be flexible and open to change.
