**The De Toren Private Cellar team has a vacancy for a full-time Receptionist/ Front of House Manager opening from the 14th of October 2024.**
The main responsibility of this role is to be the face of our prestigious brand to welcome and actively engage with guests. The daily administrative duties such as order processing along with the management of clients’ requirements and their experience are vital in this role. You will be supported by the Client Relationship Manager, reporting to the Marketing Manager.
**Requirement & Experience**:
- Basic understanding and passion for the wine industry
- Matric and Degree in Business Administration/relevant
- 2 years’ experience in business administration and hospitality
- Experience in the luxury industry will be highly advantageous
- Above average communication skills (verbal & written) - proficient in both English & Afrikaans
- Tech-savvy and proactive, solution-driven
- Accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to handle different responsibilities at the same time
- Outgoing, friendly and approachable personality
- Professional ethics and well-groomed at all times
- Computer Literacy - Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook) required & SAP experience will be advantageous
- Own transport
**Day to day responsibilities include**:
- Diarise client bookings and internal meetings in the digital company diary
- Answering all incoming calls to reception and assist/divert calls
- Daily diary communication to cleaning staff and setup in the Tasting Room/Vinotheque for wine tastings (incl. decanting of wines)
- Assist any walk-in customers including meeting, greeting, and attending to the needs of guests, to ensure a luxurious customer service experience
- Processing of all wine orders and liaise with courier regarding deliveries/collections
- Capturing Invoices/Delivery notes on accounting system (SAP)
- Submitting all credit card payments for Finance
- Inventory management of wine in tasting/bar area/warehouse
- Take minutes during Friday Farm meeting
- Setup for weekend events on Fridays with assistance
- Communication with platinum and golden clients
- Undertake any other ad-hoc duties relevant to the post, as and when required
Working hours are from 8:00 - 17:00 from Monday to Thursday and 8:00 - 16:00 on Friday.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
