Are you passionate about people, data, and driving meaningful change within an organization? Join one of South Africa’s top furniture retailers as a **Human Resource Officer - Projects**, where you’ll play a key role in shaping how HR data informs decision-making and supports our people strategy.

Based at our dynamic Head Office in Woodstock, this role focuses on HR Metrics and Organisational Development (OD) initiatives. You’ll work at the intersection of people and data, supporting the collection, analysis, and interpretation of HR data to guide strategic decisions around employee experience, retention, and organisational effectiveness.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Collect, compile, and maintain HR data from multiple sources, including HRIS, payroll systems, and employee engagement surveys.
- Ensure HR data accuracy and integrity across databases and records.
- Analyse HR metrics to uncover patterns, trends, and actionable insights that drive continuous improvement.
- Create clear, insightful reports and dashboards for use by HR and leadership teams.
- Monitor key workforce indicators like turnover, absenteeism, and satisfaction levels.
- Assist with HR-focused research and special projects aligned to broader business goals.
- Evaluate HR systems and tools to recommend improvements or new solutions.
- Ensure user testing, adoption, and training for system upgrades or new HR tech implementations.
- Contribute to recruitment, selection, and performance management initiatives tied to key operational projects.
- Support the performance management cycle, including probation tracking, appraisals, and performance counselling.
- Partner with department leaders to foster strong work relationships, enhance morale, and boost productivity.
- Support Talent Management initiatives, including succession planning, talent reviews, and individual development planning.
- Ensure the timely generation of all HR-related administration and document

**What You’ll Bring**:

- Grade 12 / Senior Certificate.
- A Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management.
- A valid driver’s license.
- 3-5 years’ experience in a Human Resources generalist role, with exposure to HR analytics or organisational development being advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills with a passion for data-informed decision-making.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-focused mindset.
