We are looking for a driven technical sales representative to join our team.

The representative should have a clear understanding of pumps and associated products. They must have the ability to work independently. Your responsibilities will include establishing the needs of the new and existing customers and recommending and demonstrating products.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Sales and Marketing of Mechanical seals, Bearing Isolators and Various other rotating equipment products into the market

2. Establishing the technical needs of the customer and suggesting appropriate products.

3. Responsible for growing our market share and achieving sales budgets

4. Explaining complex technical information to customers.

5. Customer quotations.

6. Liaising regularly with suppliers.

7. Attend meetings with suppliers and clients.

8. Delivering stock to clients and assist with installations, as required.

9. Following up with customers and resolving any issues that may arise.

10. Keeping customers informed about new products.

11. Compiling proposals and reports related to technical products.

12. Reporting to management.

13. Updating records of customer communications and contact information.

**Requirements**:
1. Qualified fitter.

2. Sales diploma is advantageous.

3. A minimum of 3 years of sales or marketing experience in the industrial sector.

4. Experience in the paper and pulp industry is advantageous.

5. Technical knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of pumps, mechanical seals and associated products.

6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

7. The ability to identify opportunities and follow up on leads.

8. Exceptional skills in selling products and closing deals.

9. Knowledge of sales promotion techniques.

10. Work independently.

11. Excellent presentation skills and a professional appearance.

12. A valid driver’s license and a willingness to travel.

13. Must be able to work autonomously.

14. Will be based in Gauteng.

15. Proficient in MS Office

**Remuneration**:
Basic. Commission. Car allowance. Based on level qualification and experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Commission

**Salary**: R18,000.00 - R50,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Wes-Rand, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- High School (matric) (required)

**Experience**:

- Sales: 2 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (required)

License/Certification:

- Drivers license (required)
