Africa’s leading specialist in the manufacturing of premium knitted and woven mattress fabric based in Elsiesriver industrial is seeking to fill the role of National Sales Manager.

**Job Summary**
- The National Sales Manager will be responsible for defining and driving sales strategies to consistently deliver sales results and achieve annual growth targets.

**Job Requirements**

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- A post-graduate Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or closely related discipline.
- Essential: 7 - 10 years of experience in Sales within a manufacturing environment.
- At least 5 years of experience in a managerial capacity.
- Computer literate (Microsoft office, Syspro).
- A demonstrable capacity to keep abreast of new technology trends.
- Solid understanding of budgeting and reporting on its progress.
- Understanding of commercial trends and marketing strategies.

**Duties and Responsibilities** include but are not limited to the following:

- Manage National and Africa sales.
- Develop and implement an effective sales approach.
- New market revenue growth.
- Ensure alignment to the Group’s strategy/vision and mission.
- Manage sales administration such as departmental KPIs, sales reports, order book review, backlog report review, customer surveys, etc.
- Identify new Sales opportunities within the industry and oversee their formal introduction and onboarding processes to ensure sales success.
- Analyse sales statistics to identify areas of improvement and track results and trends.
- Ensure customers are informed and agree to the price increases.
- Maintain excellent customer relations and conduct a quarterly visit to the customer base.
- Work collaboratively, negotiate and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with the production and customer care strategy.
- Maintain a well-informed working knowledge of all product ranges, production workflow, warranty, guarantee, etc.
- Designing and implementing marketing plans for company products.
- Working in collaboration with the Head Office Media department.
- Create awareness of the products offered.
- Communicate with stakeholders the impact of market change, product changes, and potential effects on customer complaints.
- Liaise and communicate with other departments to ensure effectiveness in resolving customer care complaints.
- Oversee finished goods to ensure on time and in full delivery of products.
- Ensure stock levels are maintained to standard.
- Feedback to the Management team to share ideas on improving processes and procedures to optimize results and improve quality of delivery, in line with quality standards and timeous delivery to meet Customer requirements/expectations.
- Submit annual sales budget and review monthly sales vs. budget for key accounts.
- Generate sales reports including all booking reports and other daily, weekly, monthly and annual reporting as directed.
- Keep informed of new products, services, and other general information of interest to customers.
- Develop and coach the Sales Team to meet or exceed specific goals for profitable revenue growth.
- Assist Sales Team with negotiations, closing the sale, and developing marketing plans for contract accounts.
- Manage the Despatch team.
- Provide product expertise within the team and respond to relevant queries.
