**Purpose Statement**
**To be responsible** to Work closely with the HR Managers for Labour Relations.
**To provide** support for HR projects.
**To provide** HR Business Partnering assistance and support service to Central Region, SSH and UQS.
**To Provide** HR administrative and support services to the relevant business entities and Branches.

**Main Outputs and Responsibilities for This Position**

**Responsibilities**
Labour Relations
- Guide and advise operational teams in terms of Labour Relations, grievances, disciplinary enquiries.
- Assist with the formulation disciplinary charges for disciplinary hearings.
- Ensure consistency by reviewing and approving the finding(s) and outcome(s) of disciplinary hearings.
- Drafting CCMA related forms and documents.
- CCMA case/file management.
HR Consultancy & Support Services
- Build business relationships with operational
management teams and staff of the areas of responsibility.
- Deliver a HR support and advisory service to areas of responsibility.
- Translate key challenges in the working environment into HR solutions.
- Ensure continuous improvement of the operational HR support services so that there is greater efficiency and improved quality of HR services provided.
- Act as liaison between specialist portfolios in HR (e.g., Learning & Development and Recruitment) and operationally based internal customers to ensure speedy delivery of HR solutions and effective communication channels.
- Provide an integrated HR support service including (but not limited to) expertise on Labour Relations, the employee life cycle (recruitment and selection, onboarding, performance management, reward and recognition, succession planning and off-boarding), as well as organizational development (workforce planning, culture, employee wellness, employee development and change and transition management)
- Participate and assist operational management teams in HR planning and succession planning of operational staff.
- Assist with the implementation of HR projects where required.
- Assist operational management with selection interviews where required.
- Assist operational management with change management interventions where required.
HR Governance and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all HR policies and procedures.
- Assist manager with implementing new and revised HR policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Exemption Applications.
Administration
- Process ISO forms and documents.
- Monthly report (HR and Labour Relations)
- Bi-Annual reporting on social and ethics,
- Ensure the implementation of Employment Equity policy decisions
- Report drafting and formulation.
**Qualifications**
Minimum
- Grade 12
Recommended
- HR / Labour Relations Qualification
**Experience**
- 2 years in HR Labour Relations
